Although now's the beggining of September, it's still hot and humid here.
I came here with some of my friends to enjoy swimming and feel the end of summer. This town is famous as the town has lots of beaches, and it's population becomes four times larger in summer season than other seasons. Tourists come to this town for sea bathing and sightseeing. Actually, there're some fascinating spots here. One of these spots is named "Myokyo Cave". It's the cave which have been eroded by waves beating the rocks. We've been there and we could went through the cave.It was cool. As we went through there, we could see various fish under the water.
However, we had a bad experience too. In the end of summer, there were lots of jellyfish in the water, and they stung us. In the end, I got many welts all over my body.
Except the trouble with jellyfish, we have a really good time here in this town. We had a BBQ at the park near the sea shore. It's so good to have BBQ and beer outdoors with nice mates!
Looking forwardto your letter.
Have a nice vacation.

PS. The photo attached to this letter is the scenery of "Myoko Cave".

Practice Teaching

At this time, I'll write about my experience of practice teaching at elementary school attached by university.
I took one of second grade classes for two weeks.
During the first week, I was struggling to remenber the names of all student in my class. To achieve that goal, I played dodge ball, tag, and talked with different students each day.
It was hard because although many students aspired to play with me, some of them didn't want to play with other students at the same time. I felt that second grade students really want their teacher to know themselves-their hobbies, findings, and so on, therefore each child wanted to keep their teacher around all the time, without thinking of others.
For the last week, I've mainly focused on my lesson which was about moral.
The hardest part of that teaching was to explain and teach abstract idea like "moral" concretely by using specific examples of daily experiences which are familiar with the children .

Although I realized there are lot of things to think of and necessity of improvement in my teaching skills , I could enjoy talking, teaching, playing and spending time with children.
All these experience could be a motive for being a teacher. It teached me a pleasure of working as a teacher.

Welcome to On Time Now

Hello, I'm NAO.
